Fabrics can be supplied with water-resistant, waterproof or breathable finishes, depending on end user requirements. The main yarns used in these areas are polyester normal and high tenacity, nylon 6, nylon 6.6, in normal and high tenacity, as well as in air jet textured form to produce a matt, non reflective finish. Enhanced abrasion resistance and UV resistance are two main characteristics that receive priority in this business area.
